I have a new 2004 Acura TL / Black. My last car was black also and within the first week rock chips were showing up in the paint. I came across the 3M Paint Protection Film, by way of Sheeld Industries (Huntington Beach), and it's by far the best product I've seen in years. It's a clear film that goes on the front of your car, similar to the old black bras, but much better. I had this product installed 3 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier! Excellent product, detailed a Infiniti G-30 with it on it, very nice appearance, and looks extremely durable. I called 3M to ask about maintenance about it, they recommended using (of course) 3M products.....

Last year I did the same. I had been using the old black bra and ended going through 2 of them in a year. I had the clear film by StonGard install and I was glad to pay someone to do it. I sat and watched it go on. It took over 4 hours to do. Originally I planned on doing it myself. After watching just the mirror install being done I realized that I had made the right decision. :bowdown:
