What are you guys finding is the best way to launch the 6MT when you are looking to race. I feel like if you dump the clutch you just spin out even with the VSA on. Out of experience, do you rev it to around 2500 and give it some gas and once you feel it lock you floor it?

 

VSA off, low RPM launch - 2500 or less, slip the clutch a bit as I floor the accelerator.

 

Aegir, but when you rev to 2500, slip the clutch a little, then you release and floor right......So really we have no benefit of getting a huge 4000 rpm launch do we? We would just spin out?

 

Yep. I don't think there is any way this car can hook up on street tires launching at 4000.
