Best head turning Body kit for TL '05?

Hey guys I'm new to this and modding cars. I got an Acura Tl 05 white pearl. I'm looking for a nice sexy head turning body kit or combination.
I have looked up the Ron Jons one and this one which I think it is also sexy
http://www.canibeat.com/2011/07/tota...atic-acura-tl/
but it says it has a Lexus front bumper I didnt know that could fit on an acura tl or will I have to get it fully fitted somehow? This one caught my eye too http://www.octanemotorsports.com/04-...a-p-21889.html
Im looking forward for you guys opinions on what is the best looking out right now. Thank you Im trying to start working on my baby little by little.

The sarona is just a knock off of the A-spec kit and the one in your other link is custom.

If you're going for the sarona you should probably just get the factory A-SPEC lips instead.

If your looking for "head turning" your best bet is going custom like the GS bumber or something like Eric's below

I really like the custom idea and i really love that lexus front bumper, how would I know if any of those bumpers would fit on my acura? before I spend money on something that wouldnt even work at all. Once I do find a good front bumper that works I could take it to any good autobody shop and see if they could do it for me right? Sorry for all these dumb questions Im just new and trying to learn more.

Honestly to save your time and money just go with the A-Spec/Ron Jon

GL getting one of those... I think he said there was only like 5 ever made. OEM A-Spec or stock IMO. ^This is an exception obviously, as it looks pretty mean.

That body kit work alone costs $5000. Turn your head the other way.

Why not get a TypeS rear bumper, and A-spec front lip. I think that combination is the best on your 05 model, esp in Pearl White.

^ I dont know where you got $5000

OP - the best "head turning" kit is the one you choose. I and others may not like your taste but if it makes you happy than that is what makes it the best to the owner. Take you time and lurk through the forum (gallary section) to get ideas. Take your time and your build will come together.

DecaFe1 mentioned it costed him around there for his front bumper. I'm pretty sure Job Design bumper made for a lexus gs350 is pretty expensive as it is. And then having someone cut the material of the two bumpers and molding should cost about the price of the front bumper. Then comes painting and there goes close to $5K.

a-spec kit is the only kit worth getting IMO. this is a luxury sport sedan, you don't want something overstated. The a-spec is subtle enough - but add some coilovers and lower your ride a bit + a-spec kit == hotness that will definitely turn heads.

5000? damn that is a crazy amount, I have been looking for the a-spec kit but i only have seen different parts on Ebay. Im maybe thinking a typeS front but I also looked that up and have found only for 07, would that probably fit on mine or would I have to look specifically for 04-06?

in order to have a type-s aspec front lip, you need an 07-08 bumper.

do not buy any aftermarket crap off of ebay. deal with one of our vendors here on the forum. sounds like you need to do some more research.

Dont take this wrong, but what he meant in research is that this is now turning into if this TL part fit this TL. I understand you are asking questions, but when it has been answered numerous of times it gets vexing.

90% of 3G TL/TLS parts are interchangeable with each other

Good luck

I'm just trying to make the number look big so you don't have to do it. It's more like $3000, no sweat.

Anyways, just be sure it's fiberglass/fiberglass and not fiberglass/plastic. And again, you're juiced up that you got this TL and you just turned legal age. When I was 21, only way I got laid was because I had a nice looking car.

Yea I'm pretty much happy about seeing how I am paying everything for it on my own so its basically my baby lol so im just trying to take care of it and make it look real nice. I will try to do all my buying here from the vendors once I can since this seems like a pretty nice community and I'm sure there are pretty well trusted people there that only sell the best quality since I dont want to get ripped off somewhere else. I already have my eyes on some blacked out headlights that someone is selling here but I will get that once I'm done with the body. Thank you for the info on the fiberglass/fiberglass

It's a pretty stiff price to go with an aftermarket kit, I'm doing the RJ kit currently and here's where my numbers landed...

$1400 for the kit ($600 front, $400 sides, $400 freight to hawaii.. I get killed on shipping big stuff here)

About $1900 for the paint.. I'm paying $3100 though.. body shop here is fixing my fenders (I let someone pull the fronts a little and they got jacked a bit $600 to fix & re-paint entire fender) & $600 to paint my roof NBP. They're also painting my C-MOD grille NBP, shaving the side underspoilers so they sit flush and painting the trim piece on my CF hood NBP.

Insurance covered about $1k which is what started this whole thing, some guy in a mustang hit a car in an intersection and then backed into me while I was stopped at a stop sign, even after I honked to warn him he was backing up pretty fast. Little damage on the bumper ended up needing to replace the whole thing.

The A-SPEC lips can be purchased pre-painted from the vendors, so that cost isn't a worry and freight shouldn't be too bad if you're on the mainland. Color match shouldn't be too much of a concern, it'll probably be a little noticeable to you but most will probably miss the color difference.

I have the Type-S A-spec on the rear and it's pretty tough to tell the difference in color, but if lighting is just right you can see it.

So fast to say no, its not always bad to think outside the box.

Hope this helps. BTW its an 04 Base bumper with an 08 TL type S A-spec lip.

Tape holding it in while the epoxy dries

Front bumper off

Fitting up the new lip and deciding where to cut relief holes

Test fit

Finished ( I always forget to take more pictures, I get into the project and don't want to stop for pics)

Quick pic after bolting the bumper back on

Close up of the block offs

Few more

i'm not "so fast to say no"...i work on these cars all the time and know them inside and out.

so you put a type-s front lip on an 04 bumper. sorry but that looks like crap in my opinion. the fog light openings are there for a reason. FOR. FOG. LIGHTS.

in the end, you didn't do anything that anyone else couldn't have done. make some cuts and block off the fog light openings.

It fits the exact same as it would if it were on the 08 type s bumper. I know this because after a recent fender bender I have the 08 bumper and lip on there. I COULD of put the fog lights in but wanted to try something different. The fogs screw on to the back of the lip anyway so it wouldn't of been hard. The new bumper and lip that I have will have the fog lights (whenever they show up).

You wanted to see pictures, I provided them. Why so upset?
