I wonder how many of the DM (actually, BG in Acura's color coding - beige?) TLs have been sold? Just by watching the color selections in this thread, and color choices in a lot of other threads, I do get the feeling that my color selection will be very unique.

Judging from what I've seen posted, it looks like the Black, White, and Anthracite (in no particular order) are the most popular colors by far.

I used to have a BMW 323 convertible that was Midnite Black with a tan interior. I loved the look! That has to be one of the sharpest color combinations around - for almost any car. Kind of like a tux - it never goes out of style!

PS: For those who are interested, the black was slightly harder to maintain, because I would get a fine layer of dust every day on the car that was visible. The California Duster really helped a lot, and I could get the car "like new" in about 3-4 minutes. Getting Black? The California Duster is a must-have!

Forgive me, I'm a Noo Yawker - what's a California duster?

I just bought Anthracite/Ebony. I traded in an Accord that was Signet Silver w/Quartz and just loved that color combo, but I got the Ebony in my TL. I think the contrast of the Ebony with the chrome trim and display panels is awesome. Does anyone else feel like they're in a spaceship?

Desert Mist is nice too, I'm surprised it's not more popular. The dealer told me Anthracite is his biggest seller so far.

I agree with gotJazz the California duster is a must. I have mine, sitting in the trunk. Its basically a soft cloth duster. Dont worry it wont scratch or leave swirl marks. Works really nice to get rid of light dust that accumulates on the finish. For all of the Zaino addicts, Z6 does a nice job of repelling dust also. So the black wont be that hard to maintain....

 

I'll give another testimonial for the Californai Duster. It works perfectly. On the White Diamond Pearl paint, the dust that gathers on the rear bumper and license plate area comes off in seconds, and the car looks pearly white and gorgeous once again.

White Diamond Pearl looks awesome.

I am partial to the Anthracite/Ebony or the Black/Quartz. I also like the Blue/Camel.

I guess we'll see what combo they are willing to deal with when the time comes to get my TL.
