Best color on the TL

Best color on the TL
I love the red from the 01 Cl type S or the red from the TSX I think either of these colors would look georgeous on the TL, for now I think the Night Hawk black is the best color option on the TL. What is yours fav color from either a current or past Acura

I have the WDP and love it. I was close to black, but there was no way with all that upkeep, plus I think the WDP looks sportier. The other color I love is the really dark blue (not sure of its name)....it is a really sweet color that seems to transition between a deep blue and black....really nice looking, but also a pain to maintain

WDP with parchment - I think the quarts would definitely be easier to keep clean but I like the elegance of the parchment/wood. (Took delivery last night, 3 days early!!)

Does anyone read this
Black is by far the best looking on the TL in my eyes. Everyone always says that black is so hard to keep clean but I havent had any problems with it. Ever heard of a California duster?

Black looks the best, and a California Duster will solve most of your problems. Also, Acura dealers can have your clear coat buffed solid (under microscope looks like a sponge since sprayed on) which gives it a remarkable shine

I think that the NBP is the best with Red and Anth tied for second. I did not get the black because I was concerned about cleaning it. I ordered the red with ebony because everyone else is getting the anth and silver.

I like the red/parchment. Its a great contrasting color combo. Actually I like all of the colors but my last cars were dark blue, gray, silver, silver. So it was time for a nice bright color.

NBP... so that's what I got. And if any of you doubt it, just check out rkillian's zaino'd pics. Good lord, that stuff looks like liquid metal.
But all those colors look good. As for me, my 2nd choices would've been :
2) Anthracite
3) Blue (whatever it's called)
The other colors don't really do much for me.

It has been found by some insurance agency that the car color least likely to be in an accident is silver. Just a thought. Definitely beneficial in snow country, b/c its the same color as salt.
Have to say, though, that a black TL was the first TL I ever saw in person, and I literally thought it was the best looking vehicle I had ever seen.

My color choices are:
1. White (but only if I could get the ebony/blk interior)
2. Red (ebony/black interior) (and I am not a girl)
3. Anthracite/gray with ebony interior
Do not understand why Acura does not offer the black int. with the white ext. ???
Also, the gray interior would look better if all the dash and door panels were black. I do not care for the two tone look. IMO gray seats and carpet would look great with all other trim being black.

This is such a subjective question.
I think the black w/parchment is the sharpest looking combo. It's also THE most difficult to keep clean which is the reason I didn't buy one.
I have Deep Green Pearl w/parchment which I think is a great color combo. Don't go by the Acura website; it's a totally different color when you see it in person. Dark rich green- almost black- at night, and hunter green in the sunlight.
Blue is another great color that needs to be seen in person. Unforunately it doesn't come with a parchment interior.
Anthracite is a dark gray color. Very nice color.
Silver, if you want a low maintenance exterior- hides the dirt well.

I wanted the white too, but was told that they will not put the ebony interior in it. Apparently there is no special order process.
I was torn between red and anth, but chose red due to the 350 days of gray skies in Seattle. Only two more months 'til I get my Red/ebony/navi.

acuraddict,
I totally agree. I was all set to get an ebony interior, but when I actually sat in a quartz I really liked it.
As far as exteriors, I do like the red best, and anthracite and blue are a close second. But I have an order in for anthracite because red is too scarce and I'm getting rid of a dark blue car.

Colors?
I thought Black and white were not technically "colors,"
in the light spectrum.
However, Anthracite is a color.
Kind of like thumbs not being a "Finger."
You have eight fingers + 2 thumbs = 10 digits.

White ext. with ebony int.
On another board, someone is saying that in Canada you can get the ebony interior with a white exterior. But it may only be available with the dynamic package.
So if you live near Canada...check it out.

Hmmm ... I may be the only Desert Mist (w/ Parchment) owner on the planet.
I've always liked the golden-colored cars. And, living in the southwest, the color choice is practical for hiding the ever-present dust.
