No practical experience with these but found this Mercedes Benz "tech tip" interesting.

When Does My Mercedes Need Brakes?

Mercedes brake pad replacement intervals are very hard to predict since it varies between chassis and driving habits. I have seen people with M class vehicles wear them out in 10,000 miles and other people in 126 chassis cars get 75,000 miles. Rear pads generally last much longer than the front pads since they do less work.

Tech Tip: When replacing your brake pads we recommend using OEM pads. I know they make a lot of dust but we have seen many people try to use a cheaper pad and after two weeks they are doing the brakes again because the brakes scream when they are applied.

Infinity magazine review: The Infiniti G35 sedan clearly lives up to its claim as a sports sedan. ... The few things i don't like are excessive brake dust.

I don't know about the Caddy CTS, but I do know the 400HP "V" version runs Brembo 4 piston brakes on all 4 wheels.
