Best brake pads for '08 Type-S?
Alright, before you bring out your pitchforks and flame me for not using the search function, I did. Though, the community seems to be very split among which brake pads are best for the TLS, some say OEM, others say Hawk's, I even read Durlast at one time. So I decided to create a thread and hopefully some of you are willing to share what you prefer and maybe I'll come to a conclusion on which route to go. Looking for something that has OEM equivalent bite/stopping power with not much excessive dust being given off. I recently got my 2008 Acura TL Type-S, 6mt, 120k miles a month ago and I want nothing but the best for it. Thanks for anyone's input!!!!!

I say, Brembo/Ferodo (Italy), no wait! I say Brembo aftermarkets (China), no, how about Akebono or Stoptech or PowerStop or Duralast or even heapum-good-stopperz.
The thing is, each one of those pads can be considered "The Best Pads for a Type-S" for someone; it all depends upon what your needs/wants/desires are for your pads. Until you figure out what you want, there is no one answer better than the next.

So if you really searched and read, you wouldn't have posted the exact same question as the previous 17,342 posts. You would obviously know that the Duralast CMAX/Gold do NOT have the same bite as OEM, but they are cheap, no dust, and have a lifetime warranty. If you want OEM bite, these are not the pads for you.
So what kind of oil should I use?
