And its so funny cause these drivers think they've made in the world when they get one of these things. THey had the audacity to get snobby once its in their driveway...

 

Hey there peoples.

This is my first post, save for the one in the introduction thread.

I figured I'd pipe in because on Tuesday I bought a 05 TL (5AT black/camel NAVI). I'd put off the decision for quite a while because while I had whittled down the competition (eliminating the 325, A4, G35, 9-3, TSX for various reasons), I couldn't make up my mind between the TL and the C230K.

Believe me, the C230K is a fine car. Sit in the drivers seat and the driving position is dead-on perfect. It just welcomes you. The look is quite sharp, and there IS something to be said for that solid "thunk" of the door of a MB closing. Unfortunately, the "extras" added up to the point where I was leaving off a few items I wanted just to remain in my price range. Add to that, the lack of HP in the C230 was noticible, especially compared to the TL. Finally, my kids are 10/7 and the 10 year old complained the back was too small. That's only going to get worse.

Bottom line. I'm not going to bash the C230. I'm just going to say that in the end, the TL was the right choice for me. (And four days later, I still hate getting out of it. )
