Yeah...but honestly I don't think I'm gonna ride with any tow hooks on, front or rear.

Man this is a bad idea waiting to catch on. The bumper may be nice looking, but it has a functional purpose, it absorbs shock loading from being hit. It sounds like you assume someone is going to hit you low speed, but you don't know that. Someone hits you with any kind of speed, and you will have much more damage than replacing a bumper. There are a few pick up truck drivers that have had their frames bent after being hit with ball hitches left on. Its simple engineering, deflection (courtesy of your bumper) allows the impact energy to be absorbed before it gets to the frame and rest of the car. Defeating the main safety feature of the car seems like a bad idea waiting to happen...

yeaaa the bumpers r desine that way to absorbs shock loading from bein hit but people r actually doing it for purpose hitting ur bumpers while parking they cars... and i have white car on which u can easely recognize the demage and alll scratches ... i gueess only people from NY will understand that ..... U have to live it to belive it....
