Beige vs. black interior
Any time I have the option I always get the beige .. black shows every speck of lint and dirt and also makes the interior look smaller. Also black is more neglected and wears faster just because of those reasons.
I've always thought opposite. I'd always opt for a dark colored interior because Beige shows its age more, and stains are more visible.

Black interior for sure!! The black headliner looks soooo good. We are car enthusiast so keeping things clean or not getting an interior because it shows dust more should not be a factor :-)
Once upon a time I liked the beige interior. I was eyeing a red TL-S with beige interior (before someone scooped it up)...and I remember liking that interior color because of the contrast with the parts of the interior that are black. But that was before I knew about the two-tone seats. Now I would pick black over beige any day.
The different colors are Parchment and Camel which are the beige colors. Camel is 'orangy' and it is what I have and I love it. There is also Quartz which is the grey. Camel and Quartz was phased out in 06. Taupe which is kinda like a light grey (only on 07 & 08) Then there is the black and two-tone black (two tone on the Type-S).
My previous '02 TLS had Parchment. My wife's '13 MDX has Parchment. They are much harder to keep clean and looking good versus the black interior in my '08 TLS.
My vote would be black on any exterior color.

Biege tho it shows the dirt more what that does is it gets cleaned more thus lasts longer ... Biggest enemy of leather is dirt & grime getting ground into the coating on the leather and wearing it. Some of the dirtiest interiors I see are black just from that reason. They dont see the dirt so dont clean it.
I've never owned a car with tan/beige interior and I don't plan on it. I have only had black or gray interiors. My roommate has tan in his 04 WDP TL and I hate it, the tan headliner makes it that much worse. I always want white (MT Honda/Acura) cars with black interior but they are rare! I have seen ONE 04-06 WDP MT with black interior for sale when I was looking for my car and my roommates car (BTW I was searching the whole country). 09-11 WDP MT TL's only came with tan seats, so that was out of the question when I bought my 4G TL.
So you may want one color interior/exterior or the other but manufacturers may only have a certain combination available.
As for the dark exterior with the light interior debate. Look up an 04-06 AM TL with tan interior vs one with gray or black interior. The exact color of the car matters when determining your purchase.

I used to always want black interior cause it seemed "cooler". However, the more I saw cars with black interior, the less I liked it. The reason being that it makes the interior appear smaller and claustrophobic. I'm not too crazy about beige interiors, but it looks much more luxurious IMO. To each their own though. I personally have the quartz interior. Although lack luster to me, it appears pretty spacious and is relatively easy to keep clean.
Total judgement call for each person. I have a WDP and probably would have gone with the black interior now with almost 8 years of ownership.
I still like the parchment interior and appreciate not having my butt burn in the Summer getting in a hot car.
My biggest gripes are the light carpets (particularly the hump on the floor in the back), and the door sills. I'm always cleaning the sills because people drag their shoes over them and mark them up. I think black would hide those issues better. I went with the black OEM mats and that adds some contrast to the interior.

I thought about the carpet issue yesterday. I vacuumed and saw that the tan mat on the driver side is dirty again. I'm thinking of getting black replacement mats but not sure if it will look good with the carpet and seats being tan. The dashboard is black though so it could be a good combination.
