Beginning the buying process, suggestions?

Hey guys,
New guy on board with a couple of questions. I just found the 2004 TL and have absolutely fallen in love. The beautiful thing about the internet is there are always a group of enthusiasts out there that put together a site dedicated to their favorite care, and this site is excellent! I guess I just wanted to know what you guys think of the 04 TL - any major issues with a new-year model car, how much below/above sticker did you guys pay, does it drive as well as it looks, because it looks freakin' beautiful! So, I guess there's no real major questions, I just wanted to get a dialogue going with some of you guys who've bought a new TL. Any comments, suggestions, would be great. I'm driving a 2001 Toyota Tundra, and I love this truck more than any car/truck I've ever driven, but am considering the new TL. I'm fresh outta college and have a good job and want to reward myself, is the TL a good early x-mas present to myself?

The TL is fantastic.

It LOOKS and feels fantastic.

There are some issues like with all new car models, such as steering wheekl alignment and things, but I am confident they will all be worked out.

If there are issues that affect multiple persons, they HAVE to take care of them.

I am SURE there are even more issues with cheaper cars..

Get a Tl

If you feel TL is already priced right and don't mind paying MSRP then you'll be happy but if you are expecting discounts you may find that hard to come by.

Also Navi maybe harder to come by where as non-navi auto maybe more available.

The 04 TL is the best car I have ever owned. It has everything and does everything well. I traded in my 02 TL and there is no comparison, the 04 is in another league. I got 600 off MSRP plus some accessories I didn't pay extra for, like Wheel Locks, Mud flaps, and Trunk Mat.

If its a 4-door sport sedan you want get the TL you won't be disappointed.

Went by my local dealer today and took had my first 'in-person' look at the new TL, inside and out. All I can say is wow! What a beautiful car. I told the salesperson that my car would have to be a Black/Parchment Interior 6M. None on the lot, and not a black 6M arriving until after Feb/March. But that gives me some time to put together some financing options. She told me the average APR would be in the neighborhood of 4%. I'm a 24-year-old homeowner with perfect credit, and I'm wondering what some of you guys got for your APR's on your TL's? Just trying to get an idea of what the lowest payment I could make, including the trade-in of my 2001 Tundra - 31K miles. Thanks for your help guys...
