OK its whatever you want it to be, just don't expect everybody to accept that at 14.7 car can run with a 12.9 truck no matter how badly the truck is driven.
I ran 12.5/114 last year before over the winter changes. If it was a bracket race you would be given a 2.2 second head start. With the truck you would get a 1.8 second head start. In both cases a perfect run by everybody would end in two tie races.
Anyhow thanks for the thread - I'm out.

Will show you a vid. The car had a good launch on the first run then blew the second launch & slipped through both 1st & part of 2nd. Watch the times & speeds from the two runs. Just a few 10ths & a few miles per hour.

Its hard to believe we have come to the point in this country that disagreeing with someone is now trolling or hate speech. Disagreement with a reasonable basis to disagree is far from trolling its just a difference of opinion.
The guys who have posted some doubts about the 600hp truck are all pretty regular racers & have seen lots of claims on the internet that don't pass the logic test. This is an Acura fan site & a lot of guys would like to believe a TL can put down a 600hp Raptor, but it just ain't so.
My 2006 TL 6MT with summer tires was reasonably quick & would kick the OP's butt with no problem. That being said a 600hp truck would have kicked my butt just as easily.
Thing is if I was trolling I could have just said “600hp no way - you are full of s++t. What I did was explain why I disagreed, it its looks like some of you, especially the keyboard racers, are too thin skinned to deal with it.

He was referring to damnboy's post as trolling. Which it wasn't.
OP, listen if you want to. You're going to run into three types of people at the track: The "Strokers" who feed a line of BS and hype about their car and lie about it for whatever reason. They're pretty easy to spot after their 8 lb per horsepower car keeps trapping 93 mph. Of course then the excuses start flying. Strokers are often compulsive liars and can be quite convincing since they end up believing their own fallacies. (In a nutshell, don't believe anything anyone says until you get a better understanding of the sport) I spotted one of these Strokers at the gym last week. He was driving a 6G Accord with "6.0 POWER" emblems on his fenders. Strokers can often be be spotted by their choice in apparel as well. Tapout and NASCAR clothing is highly popular among Strokers. Oakley wraparounds can be a telltale sign as well.
Then you've got the "Sandbaggers" who downplay their car in an effort to let others get overly cocky so that they can capitalize on it. These guys tend to fly under the radar by staying quiet and will often look down at their feet and mumble about being "mostly stock" or "low boost" or "just a mild cam and headers", when asked about their car. These guys will bask in their glory and take great pleasure when they humiliate you. They're dangerous; be careful.
And lastly you have the straight up guys who are honest and forthcoming. They're chill and love the sport for what it is and don't look down on anyone, regardless of what they drive.

Then my understanding of the word troll must be off. I saw it as mock, saying it was a set up. Either way u lost me on the post references sir. I was the only post after damn so i assumed everyone knew i was referring to that post. Next time ill make sure to quote the proper post. Is that better for you?

How exactly am I trolling? Try putting up the same title in a SVT forum and find out who the troll is.
The closest I came to trolling on this forum is when I saw a 3G TLS running mid 15s at the strip, turns out I didn't know what a properly driven TLS is capable of.
