One on the right for me
How many TL owners are there in Marin County that are read the forum? I have seen a lot of different TL's on the road in Mill Valley and the surrounding towns, but it seems as if most of the subscribers are from south of the GGB.

I remembered I saw one WDP new TL at night on 10/17 in Millbrae, which is very higher VIN 04TL, with the temp Oakland Acura Dealer license. How long does CA motor vehicle authority mail the license to the register? How's about the special custom order?

It usually about 30 days after you get the car that you get the plates. Vanity plates take longer.
I bought my RSX 10/8, and got my plates 2 weeks ago. The black TL was also bought about the same time, but my hubby's plates haven't arrived yet. Go figure.

Based on my experience, I'd recommend the following 3 dealers, if you are looking for a good deal...
Acura of Stevens Creek
Acura of Serramonte
Acura of Concord
Harvey, Hopkins and Sunnyvale Acura's didn't have car of my choice, so don't know about them. Marin Acura played the "bait and switch" trick on me (i.e. promised a lower upfront price on phone and then charged up the wazoo on fee's and options. They couldn't even explain their final numbers to me.
)So, don't just go by the upfront price. Ask for the OTD (Out The Door) price and the computer printout, if possible, which lists all fees, taxes, etc. You'll find different OTD prices, even with same upfront pricing.

Hey Guys.
I just wanted to point out that my car was in a the shop for more then a month so it must of not been me you seen. Just got the car back since the accident in september.
The reason is During my time away from my car, while it was in the shop I was smoking on my balcony and seen this Hella Clean Blue TL roll by with some Rims.. Looked like 19"'s.. Just wanted to give that person a "whats up" and tell them not to drive on my street again.. Oh how the pain I endured when they rolled by in a clean TL while mine was in the hospital.....

ABP TL-S down the street from my house in San Leandro that ive noticed for the past month or two but never decided to ask about it.
It's got yellow fogs, window visors, tints and Oakland Acura license plate still there. Also seen you got a white TL loaner for a week or so about a month ago. You on here?
Also notice you have a car on one of those towing things on your driveway all covered up, looks like a show car? I saw white car/ white rims when you didn't cover the whole back.

Since the thread came back...might as well add something. About 2 weeks ago, I saw a 2nd gen TL at Wamu on Park Victoria. I was getting money to pay for the spoiler. Wasnt particular fond of his exhaust, but it's cool. When I drove pass it, I "think" I saw a MDX grill on it...

My TL is nothing special just a commuter WDP with ebony interior.

my guess is there will be about 10 TLs for the meet ... kind of short notice but we will try the best we can ...
Just rained here Tu. & last night, so don't know how many are diligent enough to wash their cars already ....
