Battery Group # '07-'08 TL
Does anybody know all the group numbers our 3G TL's take Group 24, 35, 75? Would our cars take pretty much any battery in the rating. Also do you recommend OEM Factory Honda Battery or go aftermarket?

24F is the size and i would get a diehard platinum from sears. great CCA's and gel cells.

i'm sure there are a few diff sizes you could potentially use but i'd just stick with what is recommended.

I bought an autozone gold and it lasted for exactly 360 days. Not even a year and I had to get a free replacement.

lights and dash dimming...battery go bye bye soon. mine did that both times with the OEM battery. i also had a slow turnover.
i've been pleased with the interstate battery thus far. it has a lot more CCA than the OEM battery. car starts like a champ every time. i've thought of getting a battery tender for my TL since i don't really DD her.
others will say optima (overpriced), die hard, autozone, kirkland (costco)...i read good reports on the interstate battery and consumer reports gave it a good review. i usually do thorough research prior to many of my purchases. i'll poo poo the battery when it starts taking a crap on me. for now, i'll praise it.

I had an 05 base that left me stranded and an 08 type s that did the same thing, both times in the hottest summer days. OEM batteries suck! ...but they replaced mine for free even after warranty so I'm rolling on another Acura battery lol. Looking at getting a small light weight one.
