Battery died, AGAIN!
As title says, my battery died again today. it is still warm and car cranked slowly this moring. Last time it died (about a month ago), they just recharged it and sent me home.
This time I will be asking for replacement once dealer is open tomorrow(Monday).
I want high performance battery and willing to pay them extra. Any suggestions?

The battery is under warranty, so just let the dealer replace yours for free now. The dealer will likely either not have a good hi-po replacement (higher amps and CCA than stock) or will charge you more than full cost if it does. Wait until the replacement dies before paying for a better battery.

My MDX has had a dead battery 5 times. Yes 5 times, that is not a typo, they have had 4 repaor attemps and now it is in my garae as a 55k paperweight. At first they will tell u it is a messed up HFL unit. Then the next time they will ask you for any after-market devices such as lo-jack or mobile gaurdian. Thats what happened to me and now i am a pissed off monkey :killer:

My optima 51R died today which is extremely unfortunate. Luckily I was at the dealership when it decided to go!
The problem with mine dying is its located underneath the supercharger unit and in order to change it you need to remove the blower or attempt to remove it through the front where the radiator will need to be removed.
It's definitely a costly expenditure.
