can anyone tell me where i can buy ball joints for an 04 tl....the fuccin dealership is charging 800+...they buggin...i believe its the ball joints dats messing up because whenever i hit a lil pot hole i feel it in the petals..n thats also wat the dealership told me it was!..ne one please...thanks

 

take it to an alignment shop for 2nd opinion
Ball joints themself can be purchased at parts store but its a big DIY if you are not skilled and own several tools

It IS a critical part that if it breaks the wheel seperate from the car
Ck out the other threads in Garage section for pics of damage

Private repair shops that work on hondas can do it for less and do a good job

You will need an alignment afterwards

 

my only experience with ball joints was in my last car and was most noticeable during uphill right hand turn..like turning in to a driveway or something. i was actually on my way to get it fixed when it finally went out. i turned a corner and bam, dislocation. i was in a busy intersection and decided to get out of the way...which, caused a bunch more damage. but anywho, i agree with above. have it checked out somewhere else and see what price and diagnosis you get. good luck!
