so i have an 05 tl at, it was actually in the shop because some dumass hit me from the rear end about 2 months ago..anyways so i had my moms car for the weekend. 2003 e500 benz. 5.0 litre v8 300 hp. its a sports sedan so its pretty darn quick..anyways im on pres george bush freeway for any of those living in the north dallas area. and im crusiing at 85 at 2 am (swear its so hard not to speed in that car i felt like i was going 50)- anyways i pass a g35 going about 80, his windows were down with a nice police radar and everything and his windows were tinted..it looked like it had some aftermarket mods but anyways this guy floors it..and i didnt waste any time i floored it as well..wow..v8 works wonders agains a v6. i rapedddddd this guy so damn bad at like 105mph. then he slowed down and i sped off at about 90. guess he didnt think a 4 door mercedes could beat his car! too bad the guy doesnt know i have a tl waiting which he could probably beat. so the next day im doing 60 on hebron parkway and i zoom past this mustang, he floors it as soon as i come into his blind spot and so do i. i barely beat this guy because it looked like he had a catback and crap, anyways we both saw a cop and slowed down. but the mustang deff gave me more of a fight..anyways thats my story i know it didnt involve my tl but still! go 8 cylinders!

koo, i beat quite a few g35s with my 2000 tl by multiple car lengths...........

Most newer cars keep some history of the driving conditions.
They can be called into evidence in things like accident investigations, license suspensions, parental inquisitions, etc.
...Just something to keep in mind.
I'll be Mom would be plenty pissed if she went in for warranty work and they denied it because the history showed it had been driven at 120+.

actually a g35 isn't a fast or quick car in my opinion. I was beating them prior to my turbo setup.

So does a well driven G35. The new G35s run around 13.8 w/ 103mph so its pretty quick. I bet the E500 was a lot faster on the highway though.
