Bad Luck - Just a week after I got my car
Hey guys,
I just recently got my TL a week ago (https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/new-member-one-you-guys-852572/)
but unfortunately bad luck and careless drivers caused this.
It sucks big time. I was just thinking of buffing it out and adding touch up paint. What you guys think?

Yes- that sucks. I feel for you- I just got my car fixed from somebody that hit my car and did not leave any note. I would try the buffing and then use www.paintscratch.com to buy a can of spraypaint touchup and see how that goes- worst case is you'll need to go to a body shop.

Nope, nothing at all. Came back to get my car and saw this. I'm pretty sure it was caused by someone trying to park behind me.
Yeah, I saw your thread. Your end result was very nice though, barely noticeable.
And yeah, I will try to buff it out and touch up paint it and see how that goes.

Ouch man! Sorry to see that...people just don't have respect or the ability to judge the dimensions of their own cars for the most part
I think a body shop is your best bet honestly, some parts of those scratches look to be gouged down to the metal...I had something similar happen about 2 weeks after I got my car, at my work no less! It sucked for sure.

Just buffed it out and added touch up paint. The touch up paint seems to work on the minor scratches but the deep ones its just too deep. Its still very noticeable.
One week of owning the car and i'm already visiting a body shop. *SIGH* SMH

I got hit in the rear drivers side fender by some fool who didn't check his blind spot less than 72 hours after I drove off the lot with it - left a nice dent on the seam around the wheel (couldn't do paint-less dent repair) and it cost his insurance almost $650. Ironic thing was that he said tried to calm me down saying "it would be a cheap fix".

My kids hate the fact that I park at the end of a parking lot, but I have been on the wrong end of a door or bumper too many times. My 08 is still scratch free, and I get exercise from walking farther to and from my car. Win/Win.
