is this bad for the car?

i got a 04 TL, i often hit the RPM to 5000 rpms is it bad for the car or is it OK. and is it the car pick up slower in the summer time than winter time?

I doubt its "good" for the car. But I dont think 5000 is particularly harmful...its all just wear and tear...

engines are most efieccient at high rpm. i like to say maybe most effiect at 5000 rpm, thats where it has it highest output.

i think it's not bat for the car. It's bad for your wallet. you are burning more gas. You know what i mean...

if you own a gas station, do it all the time!!
i wish i owned a gas pump...

Yes. The cooler it is, the more "pep" the car has. Cooler air = denser air (which packs in more oxygen).

Well wouldnt say its good but ur just more prone to something breaking (worse case engine block cracking) but then its all about luck and chance sometimes nothing happens at all.

and yeah cars has more power during the cold mornings or winter cause of the air thats more dense. Love pushing the car during fall and spring just the rite temperture for the engine to get cool air and not too cold that the brakes cool down too much and the tires dont warm up
