I just had a quote from the local soCal Acura dealer, $128. I don't know if that is all inclusive or additional taxes and service charges will be added after all is said and done. I'll find out on Saturday when I get it done.

They way I figure it, I'm looking at an expensive oil change and inspection no matter what the price.

Honda quoted $99 for their similar "minor service"

They did oil change, filter change, adjusted tire pressure and tire rotation.
They even told me that the Pro CATS were not properly installed and I officially have an exhaust leak

Very good question. Just recently did a B1 service, $75 from Tustin Acura. I called Alhambra Acura, 101 Calabasas Acura, Keyes Van Nuys Acura, all at least 120. The 101 Acura is the most ridiculous, quoted me $175.

Search of "B service" in the thread titles only comes up with the following, amongst others:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...hlight=service
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...hlight=service
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...hlight=service

Above prices are low compared to Santa Monica Acura's $130-145 (w/o coupon...).

I only paid $60 for my B service at Kearny Mesa Acura here in San Diego.

Oil change, filter, tire rotation, fluid check, and probably more but the first three is all you really need.

Ok, then 58$ is what it cost me at KM Acura. Looks like you have that photoshop technique figured out in your avatar now!

Service B @ 37500 miles
Cerritos, CA
Cerritos Acura = 128.88

Thorough inspection, can't complain. Probably won't go back for the ATF; P/S; Brake fluid flushes and filter replacements they cited at $681!!! They want $167 just to replace the A/C and air filters

all this is designed to rip people off. Anyone can check their fluids and tire pressure themselves. I personally dont believe in rotating tires- they will wear a bit faster but you will save $100 by not doing all these scheduled rotations.

Only thing I'll do is oil/filter changes, fluid and brake checks every 4-5K miles, at 60K replace tranny fluid, flush coolant, inspect belts, at 90k replace all drivebelts, timing belt, maybe waterpump and adjust the valves. At every brake job will have the parking brakes adjusted. Replace air filter every year, new spark plugs every 100K mi.

Dont fix it if it aint broke. If something is wrong with suspension, I will know about it, there is no reason to pay someone $50 to look at it and tell me it is fine. The brake fluid can easily stay in the vehicle for 7 years regardless of mileage.

WHAT?! ACURA OF LYNNWOOD quoted me around $300.00 for B2 Service!!!...pissed
But I'm only getting the B service...no oil change/filter/tire rotation. B service includes VISUAL inspections and belt adjustments? Better be cheaper.........!!!

That little "2" after the "B" means more work. If I recall correctly, it's the cabin and air filters. About 30 minutes work and $45 in parts.

I just called today and my local dealership quoted me $410

I asked him what that included and he listed off 15 or 20 things...does anyone know what exactly a "B" service consists of (not B1 or B2)???
