"B" Service

Apologies up front - I tried searching and came up blank. Probably operator error, so bear with me.

Are the various service codes listed somewhere on this site? B service just popped up today on my MID.

thanks,

gurney

Hey gurneyeagle, aren't you one of those over-40 geezers (like me) who used to read a car's owner's manual before the internet was even invented??

OK, so I admit I checked this forum for the "B" service info first when my TL's "B" service reminder popped up the day before yesterday.

Thanks, dbett.

Thanks dbett!

Will, you're correct I do read the manual. I just didn't have a chance this morning. It came up on the drive in (5:00 am), and I didn't get the chance to pull out the manual. I thought that the different service levels might be listed on the site. Thanks for the reply. I was just trying to save a little time - lazy me.

From what is listed, I'll just reset the MID. I change my oil every 6K miles with Mobil 1 and rotate the tires at the same time.

Car determines service time

Not for the TL. The TL's computer[s?] and monitors determine when/which services should be performed, then messages are sent to drivers on the MID display.
