AWD 3g TL

Are there any in existance? Is it possible?

there was a RWD conversion happening on the interwebz somewhere....
only to fit the drivetrain, the TL had to be cut up to bits and pieces and no longer resemebled a TL.

so.....to answer your question...sure you could fit an awd drivetrain in the TL....but it likely wouldnt look like a TL and certainly wouldnt have the same handling aspects....maybe even worse

Always wondered if you could take the 4G sh-awd and make it fit

No chance one exists & your better off with the 05+ RL parts car, way cheaper than a 4g TL

it would be better to fit the 4G drivetrain to the RL.
this way you have SHAWD+6MT

and wouldnt need that much hacking up

its the AWD tunneling that makes the difference. the TL's platform is FWD. so, the "frame" already has a specific shape for the transmission. you would need to cut this out from front to rear lengthwise and create a new tunnel for the AWD system.

If it was RWD to begin it would be a much easier task
