I sure wish / hope there is one so taht I can install Sirius Satellite Radio. After having XM for 3 days (I took delivery on Friday) I can honestly say that I'm very disappointed in XM. I've had Sirius installed in my '01 530i for the past 1.5 years.
All I hear now everytime I switch stations is a Commercial. Believe me its worth the extra 2.95 a month...plus the programming is better, IMO.

I have the service manual, no aux input shown in the scematic, sorry.
As for XM, there is a reciver in the trunk, above the rear right wheel, if going to Siruis, you could replace the unit.
In anouther thread, William's Stereo, it says that you can tap into the XM radio inputs as an AUX input.

According to some data in another thread, the XM receiver is in the right rear trunk, and the output is line level. A switch or relay can be installed there to switch in other devices. I plan to install a trunk mounted 12 CD/MP3 changer and it will connect there.
regarding dtrose's comment - It seems I never get a commercial on XM. We must listen to different channels! Also, XM uses a different type of audio compression and it sounds a little better than Sirius. However, it seems that you could get a custom shop to change out the receiver if you really want it, but you will have to install a separate control head for it.
