Auto Starter: VIPER 591 XV
We've been hearing from dealers to hold off for a while until we know that some specific remote starters work well with the TLs sophisticated electrical system.
I learned the hard way, trying to put remote starters in my wife's 2002 Escape when it was new, and in my 2001 Chevy Silverado when it was new. These are not sophisticated vehicles, yet the installers completely screwed it up. We had to go back 4 times.
I'm waiting until I hear that something works reliably before taking the plunge.

I SECOND THAT!!! i, too want to put a remote starter in my car but i know that some of the auto shops haven't really "started working" on the 04 TL's and i don't want my car to be the "guinea pig"...because sometimes if they mess some wiring up inside, U CAN NEVER TELL...so i prefer to wait for a few months, maybe next summer, i'll have it installed...i am interested in the VIPER's...i really like the TALKING feature...it sounds awesome...
