Has anyone gotten their auto-answer feature to work correctly on the Handsfree link. I get an incoming call indication and the v600 answers the call automatically. Right after that the Handsfree link goes offline and the call is transferred back to the phone.

 

Is this phone now at ATT Wireless stores, or did you get it elsewhere? If it is out I might need to go to an ATT Wireless store. My Verizon contract ends today I think

I just got my V600 a couple of days ago. I do notice that it acts funny at times with the HFL. I do not have mine set to auto answer but if i am currently on a call and I get a call coming in on the other line, the HFL disconnects both calls and reverts them back to the handset. Thsi happens occasionally. I don't know if this is a problem with the HFL or the V600.

Maybe try it without it. The only reason i can think of is that that certain functions like auto answer will override the HFL since that feature was intended to be used with your handest only.

Good luck with the V600!! Its a beautiful phone but still has some bgs that need to be worked out with Firmware upgrades.

 

I bought my v600 on eBay and I''m using it on TMobile after re-flexing the phone/OS (see HowardForums.com). The HFL is very stable but the auto-answer seems to be incompatible with the JCI BT system. Oh well, its a very cool phone to match my cool TL and I'll just live with having to push the answer button on the steering wheel.

 

How is battery life?
Does it have any NORMAL rings?

By the time this phone comes out the Verizon one willl not be far away. It is taking FOREVER. I might as well wait. And with this V600 issue I might as well let the ATT people be the guinea pigs That when when the Verizon one comes out it will work flawlessly with the bluetooth... or at least I can dream it will.

 

Battery life is not as good as my T720i but it does live up to the v600 claims, roughly 2 hours talk time. I think the most of the power budget goes to powering the display which is absolutely amazing. I bought a second battery and a cigarette lighter adapter which I leave plugged into my center console and then loop the cord into the upper bay of the console. Its great for a quick power squirt on the way to the office.
