ASPEC or RonJon?
I have an AM 05 TL, it has the ASPEC body kit (it came with it). I love the kit, but I've also seen the RonJon kit
. I 've seen some of the pic's off the site with the AM and I think it looks good, just as good as ASPEC. I have been thinking about whether to keep the Aspec or go for RonJon . I just can't decide what to do. I don't care about the cash, I have 3K to spare, I would just like your opinion.
Are there any con's with the RonJon kit? it looks like it extends to the ground more then the Aspec, which is kinda benificial cuz I won't need more of a drop. The "holes" on the sides to make it look like it take's in air kinda looks rice, but they are not that noticable.
let me know.
(most likely, ppl with Aspec will chose Aspec
)

I'm a big RonJon fan. Aspec's are very popular and look good too. But I think the RonJon kit is sweet. I don't like the rear as much as the nose and sides. I wish it didn't drop off from the trunk so steep.

You can't go wrong with either man ![Shrug](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/shrug.gif)
I'm in the process of getting the A-Spec kit on my car, I'm just waiting for my front lip to get here. I love the subtle yet aggressive presence of the A-Spec kit, therefore that's why I decided to go that route.
I've seen the RJ kit in person and I must say that pictures don't do it justice. It looks amazing in person. Getting the RJ kit would make your TL stand out compared to any regular TLs around your area.

Area on my XM
A-spec. Unlike Steven above, I have not been able to grasp the Ron Jon kit and like one bit of it.
I might be a little out of sorts today since I'm so conservative with my curb appeal tastes, but the two-tone TL in the OP's first post is frickin' fastastico!! Love it!

I would personally go with the Ayce-Spec and save the money for something else, it looks pretty damn good. If you want your car to be really unique go with the RJ, not many that I have seen in person.

I've seen someone with the RJ frount and aspec(typeS) rear and sides and it looked great...I really don't like the RJ rear. I say save your money and do something else...maybe get just the front. It really flows well with the rest of the aspec kit.

For me, I like the RJ kit better although both are nice in my opinion. The RJ kit is more unique and more aggressive looking to me. But if I were in your position, I would stick with the A-Spec kit since you already have it installed and save that $$. Than again, I just bought my TL and can't afford either just yet.

REALLY? I think I might just do that, becuz I was taking a better look at RJ's back bumper, and I ain't feeling the drop. I think I will stay with my aspec side skirts, back lip and buy the RJ front bumper, I hope it looks good

Here are two things that persuaded me into getting the a-spec kit.
1- Fitment for RONJON was an issue. Not only should you get it just primed and have it painted at a reputable shop, alignment was not as flush as stock.
2- RONJON rear is not to my liking, since it drops off in the rear at such a big slope.
personally I would stick to the a-spec. A LOT of people have it on this site, but we make up <5% of all TL owners. I rarely see a TL kitted out, wether it be RONJON or A-SPEC. Do what makes you happy. No offense to RONJON, even though I LOVE his wheels.
