Aspec question

ok so i put my aspec kit on last night but im a perfectionist so nothing less than perfect is unacceptable. the front and sides went smooth and came out perfect, but the back bumper is very slightly flawed not noticeably flawed (black car lol) but "I know it is" so it kinda bugs me. what bothers me is it pushes off the body line a little in the back? its not hugging the body line perfectly like i would like its about 1/8" off. i used a whole roll of m3 tape but i didn't put any under the body line i just filled i the gaps between the factory tape. i tried to put more tape on the kit at the body line but it just pushes it off again? any suggestions?

The best thing to do is get rid of the factory tape and get some super duty 3M double sided tape that holds a good amount of weight. Apply it all the way around the kit and try again. Be sure to hold it down so it bonds properly with the bumper and the aspec kit.

Did you get the right screws in the back .. it comes with 2 different lengths and if you use the wrong ones it pushes it out.

i added extra 3m tape but i didn't foresee the bumper not fitting right there. and i used the 4 screws it came with there like an inch long maybe and flat on the end

Mine came with 2 sets of 4 and I put the wrong ones in the back of the bumper and it held it out 1/8"
