my TL ASpec is coming in 66 days.. counting down but i wanted to know if everybody with the aspec package gets there rearr bumbper painted according got the color of the car, or they just leave it that ugly grey color

 

From the factory the rear bumper is partially grey from the factory.

 

I think the grey is fine. It adds a little contrast. If you don't like it, then paint it.

 

what on part on the rear bumper are you talking about? ive seen pics of some that are all the same color and others that blacked out in the bottom middle in between the exhausts.

 

66 days! Who in the heck did you buy your A-spec kit from....I think I had mine in 5 days?

Left mine Grey. My wife hates the look but I like it. To each their own I guess.

yea thats wat i would like to know, becuase im considering on getting that done, but i dont know if there will be any problems in tthe future with it....

 

i have my back bumper clip(a-spec) painted all wdp. i think looks wierd with the grey/black like in the pic above because the wdp is so refletive and that blackish/grey color is flat ass hell. it looks like primer someone forgot paint! im gonna try to steal my ladies camera and get a pic up here of mine for yinz.

They purposely did it in a different color. It tones down the mass in the back especially on the lighter colors. If it was painted the same color, the bumper would look too big. I think the old Toyota Celica was like that.
I have the WDP and if you take a look at other makes in white, they all have the grey/black section in the center. That's IMPO.
