aspec lip kit make the car looks much nicer. worth the money in my opinion. Contact Kaleb with from prestige acura -- he selling the whole kit for $750 shipped (that was the price to michigan at least). he probably still got the deal going on, call him and see. Kaleb 707-578-3960
i order my kit from him about 3 weeks ago and installed it myself. very easy DIY, not bad at all.
good luck

How much lower than stock does the A Spec kit sit below your car? How much does it reduce the ground clearance? This is without doing any suspension work. I like the look of the A Spec, but I am not interested in lower my car.
Use the guides put out by Acura and fellow members here.
If you feel better to have it installed by someone else, by all means get it installed by someone else.
We had trouble with the brackets that attach to the sides, though.
We were pretty much racing against time (rain), so we only mounted the brackets so that they would hold up.
So I drove home and re-installed the brackets for the front lip, and rear lip in about an hour.
I can get it done in about 1.5 hours since I have done so many and know exactly what to do. I have seen kids that install it incorrectly and can't figure out the brackets and drill it to there bumper.
Next spring when the snow clears out you are gunna have to help me out with this.
Have you consider making a thread with direction on how to install it the correct way? I am interested in getting the kit, but not until I have enough direction on how to install it correct!
heres a really good thread i found after searching forever on
04-06 base model with a spec
07-08 base w/ aspec
07-08 type s w/ a spec.
the only thing i was wondering i have a 07 tl-s and want to get a a spec lip kit for it. As far as installing do i have to cut some of my bumper to make it fit (talking about the front lip) or how exactly will it get installed with my stock tl-s front bumper. My car is in the shop right now getting a custom grille installed and i noticed that the front bumper cover is all 1 huge peice including the damn grille. No idea why they made the grille apart of the front bumper but makes my life that much harder installing my grille. heres some pics

heres a pic of the front of the car, could someone explain where the aspec front lip for the type s is going to go and what is going to come off the car. Researching this is such a pain due to the info is out there but not all on 1 thread.

thanks thats all i wanted to know for days now. Now with the type s a spec does the fogs stay in the same place or what. I actually have the fog molding along with that chrome trim line and all the mesh painted gloss black now on the lower part of the bumper.
It will be hard to install it yourself because there is tape and there is screws. The brackets go on first and then the tape comes into play as you "stick" it on. It has to go on perfect and only have one shot if you don't want to mess up the tape. It has to be straight and in the middle perfect or things won't line up properly.
