AP2 S2000 vs 135i 6MT

On my home tonight, had a clean 65-100 run against a 1st gen 135i 6MT.

We first lined up in 3rd and I did the honking. Results? He pulled about 2 cars from me and shut down. Not exactly a close race, but I think I did decently with a slipping clutch and a full tank of gas.

Throw on a mild tune and I'd be done for

Not bad. Those have about 305 hp and 300 foot pounds of torque if I'm not mistaken.

Good stuff, Tyler!
I wonder how you'd have fared if there would have been some twists and turns.

You did all right Tyler, considering they trap 103-105. I can't remember, are you stock?

And regarding the turns, they'd still be close. Both cars slalom in the low 70's.

Yeah, I didn't anticipate on putting any distance on him - that torque is no joke.

My car is relatively stock, just an intake & exhaust.

Mods are:

Intake
Megan exhaust
F&F T2 Coilovers
Enkei RPF1 17x8 & 17x9 w/ Ventus V12

Here's how she sits today:

Let me know how you like the Q300 exhaust - I swear my current exhaust system has had a small detriment on my hearing

Maybe adding a resonator will help - putting the top down always drowns out the noise .

Oh yes...I watched that video about a trillion times before, the guy is a helluva driver too!
Thanks, man.

I have never been to a track of any kind in my life...never even seen a dyno or anything. I probably should! Ha ha...

The exhaust I wanted was the Greddy SE...but it was nowhere to be found AND double the price of everything I got on the car in one shot. I'm happy!

You got the perfect tool for the job. Try autocross first if you want better experience at slower speeds. The great part is you get a year's worth of learning from 1 event. You can't ever push that hard on the street!
