I'm down to have some friendly runs with the E30 any time this week.

I'll say anything whether they be 3 or 3000 miles away. I'm definitely not scared of some little internet roll racer LOL. Please.

I love how you say barely. David will tell you I pulled his S2000 pretty hard, and with worse aerodynamics to boot.

Why don't you go cry somewhere else, roll racer? Your lame RSX can't go from a dig, handle a road course, it can't do anything but race from rolls. Even SRT-4's are more capable than your LSD-less boy-racer car. I had an RSX before and it was nothing special. My car will beat your car in every performance category, despite being 15+ years older.

Now go whine some more because I don't respect your junky RSX. despite having owned one in the past.

Who is crying? I went from a dig against a Mustang GT a few weeks ago that went 13.80's and beat it easily on worn out all season street tires. Funny how you call me a roll racer yet the majority of the vids of you running are from a roll, pot meet kettle.

I just think you're a pompous prick with an average car and enormous ego. Why don't you go out and find a modded and VF series tuned turbo WRX or STi and we'll see if you're trapping 108. At the least I have videos on my car against numerous cars that are competitive.

I know you don't respect the RSX, that's why I don't like you. Let's just say, you are lucky you are on the West Coast, because I am pretty positive you would be losing to this "junky RSX".

Stick to racing stock s2000's and automatic TL's cool guy.

What is this 4" exhaust joke you've got going on? Is this something only you're aware of? Because it's pretty lame and irrelevant.

Oh, and something interesting: I was changing my starter (total pain in the ass on these motors) a few days ago and found something strange: a little crack in my intake manifold! My intake manifold has been remolded on one part to clear the stock brake booster, and apparently it started cracking open a bit. This must've been happening over the last couple of months.

So I sealed it up and tested out the car. Holy shit. So much more power everywhere. Car pulls even harder now and feels like it gained an extra 30 whp. Tons of torque down low now and much better throttle response.

So now the car is running the way it should and it should be even faster. Pretty excited to see how this affects the outcomes of the races.

Other than a butt dyno, I can tell you if you gained power or not. When I raced D's S2000, I was about a fender / half car length ahead with less mods doing 50 - 100 pulls. I think my car feels stronger than it did now that I have more mods with a little less weight.

Excited to run regardless of the outcome.

Should be fun to see. I know it's much stronger now because highway cruising is radically different: I have to give it way less throttle at all times, especially up hills. And there's just so much more torque. I almost wish I could've dynoed with the leak and with it fixed to see what the difference in power is!

Also, I had a couple of friends drive my car who drive it once every week or two, and they said they felt a drastic difference.

Maybe you'll come close to that 108 now lulz.

Vids!!! Tyler I see you rockin' those RPF1s now. Great choice of wheels, I was looking at them myself but couldn't afford them at the time.

Well considering the size of the leak, I think it's safe to say the car should be much faster now. I recorded another 40-100 mph run but the speedo was blocked by the steering wheel, d'oh.

Ah RPF1's are so nice. Always wanted some for my S2000 and TL. I was thinking about getting some for my E30 since they only weigh like 11 lbs for the 15 or 16" ones. My current Style 5's weigh like 19 lbs each. I wonder what size/offset Tyler got them in...

That is correct sir, here's what they look like on my car.

I had a had a tire blow last week and I put my heavy stocks back on , can't justify spending $300 - $350 on 2 decent 255/40/17 tires.

Car felt great after adding the pulley & lightweight wheels, I think these RPF1s are 15lbs in each corner as opposed to the stock wheels weighing 20lbs. Throttle response is great .

Biggest difference by a mile is handling and the tossability of the car.

Stock wheels: 20lb / 7" wide Rim w/ Crappy 215/40/17 Tires
vs:
Enkei RPF1s: 15lb / 9" wide Rim w/ 255/40/17 Race spec tires (Bridgestone RE01Rs). Makes for quite a ride.

Back on topic, we're still in the planning stages of getting a race together. We'll most likely have the same crew: Paperboy, Riley, David and I will be joining.

We'll keep you all posted!

You're a fuckin' douche with a wanna-be 108 mph car.

I will literally paypal you money to go to the track tomorrow to prove that thing is no where near 108 mph traps.

You have no track numbers.

You have no dyno numbers.

The fastest car you have raced is a stock s2000.

Any plans for Accord vs. e30?

Tyler, you weighed the stock wheels? I thought they were like 24-25lbs. And you're running 215/40/17? Damn son, I'd actually say run your stock wheels then. That tire is a good amount shorter than stock, making your gearing shorter.

damn, why can't I live by you guys, that e30 would be a great run for my Legacy, I've raced an AP1 with exhaust and intake, I pulled 5 lengths on him without power shifting.

Trying to arrange it this week, we'll see how Riley's schedule is.

As of late, I feel my car is running pretty strong but I need motor mounts again. Power feels sloppy with lots of engine / drivetrain movement .. I can tell these 75As are giving and I've only put like 20,000 miles on them.

I think this is my 3rd set of mounts?

^ Already? Something else must be up. Check your trans mount/suspension. Mine feels sloppy as well, but I'm still on the stock mounts. I can't see your mounts giving out so easily, especially after 2 sets...
