AP1 S2K vs. Modded E30 vs. 3G TL-S

In all these videos I have 1 passenger, and the other 2 cars have no passengers. I am also running on empty, my gas needle is just lower than the E line, I'm not sure if that affected my performance at all. Anyways here are the videos

I am surprised by how fast your AP1 is, David. That 45k motor on it must be really fresh and unbeaten. Definitely one of the strongest AP1's I've ever seen.

I just wish I could get traction on the dig... and that my aerodynamics at high speeds were better. If I had aero like a TL... that'd be fucking awesome.

Also, Paperboy's auto TL-S runs great, especially considering he had the passenger. Once I get the GoPro set up we'll have a much better time of things.

Yeah I'm feeling pretty pleased with my S2000 tonight. It faired pretty well for stock. I was sure that I would lose every run.

Riley thanks for the tips for launching the S2000, how'd my launch look to you guys?

Damnit Tyler! I was counting on you!!!

Good runs guys. I'm still not sure why the passenger was in the slowest car (no offense Paperboy!!), but he still did really well considering. On the 50 rolls, considering the 5AT doesn't do too well above 100, buslengths were expected. The 25 roll surprised me. The E30 really didn't pull much at all until after 70mph. After that though he pulled pretty hard. But again, the 5AT isn't strong above 100mph. I was also surprised the S2K didn't pull ahead of the TL all that much, maybe a car at 120.

The E30 is definitely a quick car, but I'm still standing by my word saying it's not a 107-108mph car. If I had to guess based on these runs, it's a solid 103-104mph car. From the highway roll of 50 I expected buses because the TL-s 5AT isn't strong above 100, neither is the S2K bone stock. Although the S2K held in there pretty well.

I ran an AP2 S2K with test pipe and a small girl passenger from a dig back when I had the RV6 V1 Jpipe and OBX exhaust. It was pretty even until 3rd gear. By 80mph I had 1 car walking pretty hard, and by 100 almost 3. Top was up. So I'd love to run the E30 but damn you for being in Cali.

I'm really interested in Tyler running the E30.

Tyler - It was a spur of the moment kind of thing, we set it up last minute last night because I was already up here in Temecula. I'm down to meet up and run at home though

Sonnick - I messed up on the 25 rolls and that TL-S just stuck right there with me. No need in mentioning the E30 as he just walked away from me every run. Lol. If I had to guess I'd say his car his good for 104mph traps in the 1/4 and maybe 105mph if he's really nailing his shifts and launching perfectly. A friend of mine owns an E36 M3 with Intake and Exhaust and said that it's not too uncommon to hear about S50 swapped E30's sticking with, if not slightly edging out a stock E46 M3.

I'll have to run an E46 M3 with my S as it sits right now and report back to let you guys know the results. lol

Nice videos George !!!

I am guessing you are AT....and running on "E" gas is helping you by reducing 45lbs of weight from your car

yea in the first 3 seconds of the first video you can clearly see i am under the E line lol, as the races went on, i wondered if i would run out of gas in the middle of a race. afterwards I filled up 15.656 gallons at the pump, the most I ever filled up at once.

It's a lot more than 45 lbs from a full tank.

Check Inaccurates weight loss list....he fills in only 3 gallons at a time and estimated weight loss from this "mod" is 44lbs....

Gas is about 6.2lb per gallon.

17.1 x 6.2 = 106.02LB.

106 pounds sure is a lot more than 45

I'm not sure how Innaccurate fills his tank, but when the gas light comes on you have roughly 3 gallons left for reserve. It's possible Innaccurate is running roughly 6 gallons of gas.

I already told him this a long time ago, last year.

Also, it's better to run 6 gallons and not have your fuel pump overheat/struggle to deliver gas than to save 18 lbs.

hmm, interesting! I still say at best high 13's for the E30...a fully bolted 6mt TL-S would give it a run for its money no doubt! Hell I will even make it an interesting race till about 110ish.....nonetheless thanks for posting vids and still a pretty sick E30 and that S2k is def strong for being strong no doubt!

He's definitely faster than high-13's, I'd say mid-13's at 103-104 at least.

Thanks man

Regardless of what Innacurate's list reads, I can assure you 17 gallons of gas weigh ~105 lbs, depending on ambient temperature.

I think your ungainly, large douchebag ego would increase your coefficient of drag sufficiently enough to slow you down, sorry sir.

CAI, LW Crank pulley, J-pipe, Test pipe, 3" catback and 75A mounts.

I think it'll be a good run with his E30 .

You'd think huh? We put down nearly identical whp with a 400lb difference in curb weight.

Do me a favor .. pickup 2 chunky girls from the club and throw them into your RSX and we'll run.
