Just a curiousity if anyone has any stories of something missing when you bought your TL.

Got mine back in december with about 45k on it.

I actually didn't notice this was supposed to be there until I put my subs in. The door on the driver kick panel for the fuse box was missing I found that very odd and didn't even notice it until I saw a thread about sub installs. You would think fuse information would be important... just ordered a new one at an acura dealer cost me about 35 bucks.

Anyone else got any other stories?

The cupholder sliding cover was completely missing and so were the front bumper plugs. Other than that, a clean, mean machine.

Got mine in September, 2010 at 24,000 miles. Yeah Buddy!!

All Im missing is the front bumper plugs, anyone know the best place to find some black ones? Damn dealer wants $11 each for em

we're supposed to have a valet key, didn't even think about that till now

Also, my coin holder was missing when I bought mine haha >.<

Umm the coin holder and the sun glass holder on the drivers side. I only had the passenger side.

i was/am missing bumper plugs, mats, second set of keys w/fob and valet key.

 

What are these bumper plugs that everyone is missing ? Also Where should there be a coin holder ?

 

In the center console lid you will see 3 or 2 hooks with holes that is where the coin holder piece goes, though many have tossed it since they are pretty useless from what fellow Aziners have mentioned.

the bumper plugs are for the license plate mount holed in the front. the majority of states require a front tage so you're not going to get the bumper plugs you get the tag holder instead that covers up the imprinted "Acura" underneath it.

for those living in states that require front tags remove the tag holder to reveal this little detail on the bumper and place the tag somewhere else or run tagless with the chance of getting a tix.

 

Valet key and cargo net. Not bad for a 6 year old car. I was surprised that it still had both sets of OEM mats.

 

Keys for driver 2, Valet key, Navi codes/ Radio codes card, Owner's Manual.

Trunk mat (which I know is not standard). That's about it really.

Same here, so true. I tried getting them to knock off $200 but they wouldn't.

Like most others, only thing missing was the 2 bumper plugs for the front license plate delete. For those that don't know what this is, it's part #11 (x2) and they come pre-painted.

Im not complaining its a 05 that i got in 2010 with 45000 miles and was only 15500 after taxes with a clean title!!!
