Anyone try that new 3M Paint Defender spray film?

Since acquiring the 6 year old "new" TL-S I would like to protect the front end since its still rock chip free. My last trip to Autozone I saw a big display for a new product by 3M called Paint Defender spray film. For those that havent heard of it, its basically a spray on clear bra. The idea seems great, but im a little skeptical about it. I watched some youtube videos about it and if applied properly I guess it looks pretty darn good. The only draw back is that it does not last anywhere near as long as a professionally installed clear bra. This product says protects for one year.
So, has anyne given this stuff a shot? professional clear bras can be extremely expensive, but obviously effective and last very long time, where as this 3M product would be much cheaper initially, but would likely have to be re-applied a year or so down the road.

Thoughts? I might be interested in giving it a shot.

Man, after reading the reviews it was sounding pretty promising until I read about trying to get bugs off it. He said the entire stuff started peeling off as he tried scrubbing bugs off. Unfortunately bugs are something I always have to deal with because 3 out of 5 of my shifts end at 10pm and thats when the bugs are pretty bad during the summer.

If you decide to go the clear bra route, I have a great installer. He's done a few cars for me.

I would be interested in getting more info about that. I have talked to some local shops regarding another car of mine and have found that clear bras aren't cheap by any means. So maybe your guy is a little cheaper. I also understand though that clear bras are by no means easy to install so I know why it's not a inexpensive job.

Here is the guy that I use. Rick will come to your house to install and does a great job. He does negotiate some on the price. He charged about $500 do do my wife's 2013 MDX with the self-healing Xpel Advance.
