Anyone seen the Moroccan Red '07 TL-S

I have been looking at a NBP with ebony/silver TL-S. I dropped by the dealership yesterday and they had a Moroccan Red TL-S with ebony/silver sitting in the showroom. It was a very nice looking car. Anyone else seen the Moroccan Red TL-S? If so, what's your opinion.

Now I have to decide between NBP, Moroccan Red, and Carbon Bronze. Silver and white are out as they are just to bland.

If had to make the choice, it would be Red. There just isn't that many of them on the road. When I got my 06, I wanted the old Red but the stop making the 06 with black interior.

I test drove a red '07 TL-S. I found it too Candy Apple for my tastes.

Instead, I bought a silver/gray with the taupe interior.

Personally, I think it looks great.

I saw the red when looking to make my purchase. I considered it briefly, but didn't like the way it looked with the grey wheels. The bronze looked really good with the wheels, but I ended up going with the blue and love it.

I've seen a Moroccan TL-S. I thought it looked pretty sweet. I was skeptical about the way the wheels would contrast w/ the red exterior but after seeing it in person, I thought it looked good. However, I don't think it looks as good as the CBP w/ the same S rims. They just seem to go better together. With either color- you can't lose IMHO.

Well the way I see it and I am a little prejudiced cuz i have a 06 Redondo Red Pearl, but the TL is already a fairly common car so why go with the common color of a common car. Be different you will enjoy it. Often times my car is the only red one at the meets among a sea of anthracite, silver, white, and black. Not sure if people are being polite or not, but I have complete strangers complimenting me on the color. Dont think thats happening to the others as they are such common colors not only on the TL but all makes and models.

I bought a Moroccan Red with Taupe TL-S and absolutly love it. I was nervous in the begining because I ordered the car without seeing one first, and then at the New England Auto Show they had a RDX in the same red that looked horrible. But when I took delivery it looked awesome.

I saw one at the dealership last week and didn't care for it too much. I've got a 06 Redondo Red Pearl and intentionally parked next to it to compare the two. The RRP is a bit darker but the biggest difference is the semi-metallic sparkley look that the new one doesn't have. Plus I've got the camel interior that they don't offer anymore which I think is a shame since the int/ext contrast is awesome. JMHO.

I can't comment on the depth of the MRP versus the RRP. I have an '06 RRP and I love it because I rarely see a red TL on the road. However, I dislike having the red tails and plan on putting the type S tails on my car because I don't think any other car goes with the black chrome/red tails like the MRP or RRP. I also added a bit of a chrome accent to the front bumper vent molding. It looks sharp.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I am going to stick with my orginal color choice of NBP with Ebony/Silver. The local dealership called and said they would sell me a '07 TLS for $35.9k with pro pack and give me $13.4k for my 02 TL-S. Net difference of $22.5 with 3.9% for 60 months. If all goes well this beauty will be in my garage tomorrow afternoon.

My '02 TL-S needs new tires and front brakes, I had rather put this money toward the '07.

Good deal on the TL-S. I was in the same situation but I had to trade in a Prelude-SH with bad tires and it needed new sensors. They gave me $1500 for a car with 130,000 miles and wouldn't rev over 3,000 rpms. Maybe in 2 years when my'06 has 25,000 miles on it i can trade it in for the new model. But go with Red and then put new rims on it. You'll like the way the smoked markers and black chrome look against the red. Black is too monotonous.

Yeah, I saw a red one the other day when I was at the local Acura dealership for service. It does look sharp and will stand out on the roads, but I am kinda partial to silver .

You should try smoking those tails, it looks very sharp on the RRP its a very monochromatic look.

Here are a couple shots of my side markers and tail lights, unfortunately I think they look best in the daylight and I dont have any rear shots in the daylight but you can kinda get a feel for the monochromatic look I was after.

You definitely got the look you were after and it does look nice but I want something to make the different part of my car stand out. I don't want the pieces to blend. Very shiny car I must say.
