Anyone painted grill to match car?
Just wondering if anyone had thought about painting the front grill to match the color of their car. Recently I noticed that a lot of Hondas come like that & it seems like it might look sharp on this car.

Has anyone tried this?

I find it amazing how many things people think up to mod their cars. I actually like the look of our grills, but if I owned a Nissan Maxima then I would be looking to paint the grill also.

If you painted the grill, you would probably want to paint that piece above the rear license plate (since it is the same (imho) unattractive matte silver.

What I would like to do is replace it with the chrome looking grill that the TSX has. I'd be nice to have that option.

I'll second that. If anyone here has some pull with Acura management or design, tell them a chrome grill ala TSX or RL would be far classier.

Is that matte silver material on the grill and rear license plate a Plastic or is it Brushed Aluminum??

You got it, it is P L A S T I C!!! And I agree with some of you that it would look classier with a chrome finish instead, but the brushed look is trendier I guess. I don't like the way it finger prints either.....

I was looking at the new MDX grill and it is silver in the middle, but the outside is body color. I wondered how that would look on the TL. I have the Anthracite and thought the two lower front grills would look good in body color as well. If someone does any paint mods, please post pics.
