Anyone Know How to have '07 Fogs on w/o Headlights?
I've been poking around here to see if anyone has modified their 2007s to have their fogs on without the headlights on. Any ideas? I didn't care so much with my 2005, but with the fogs in the lower grill on the 2007s, it would look so much better.
I guess you would have to disable the DRLs too. Anyone know how to do that?

^ he's correct about disabling the DRL's,
but when you pull the fuse you'll get a nagging yellow 'notification' light under the tachometer that will say 'DRL'
I did it and the light was annoying at first but I quickly got used to it.
About the fogs... I'm not too sure. I'd like to know myself also. I picked up some sweet Nokya bulbs that match the HID's much more closely and it'd be nice to be able to turn them on by themselves.
If you find anything out, please share.

I've tried to tie into the stock switch on an '88 Prelude once. I ran my own relay but wanted to use the stock switch. I couldn't get it to turn on the fogs because it kept blowing the fuse. I ended up running my own wiring. I could do this with the TL but I'd have to disable the DRLs.
Anyone know what would happen if I disconnected the power from the DRLs and ran them to the fogs? I know the bulbs are different, but would that cause any problems with the internal wiring? This way, the fogs would be on all the time until I turned on the headlights, then they would get brighter if the fog light switch was turned on. Any ideas?

I like DRLs, I just like how the fogs look without the headlights on better. If I run my own wiring to the fogs, the DRLs will be on unless I disable them and then I'd need an ugly aftermarket switch and I'll get a warning on the dash. That's why I think disconnecting the power to the DRLs and splicing them into the fog's power wires. I just don't want to fry something.

I have already looked into service manuals for the new and old TL's but after the wires from the headlights and parking lights activate the signal cable go directly into the computer for some kind of resistance to be put down the line.... its weird. Anyway if you're gonna do HIDs put in a separate switch it makes life easy because your not using any of acuras electrical wiring and the car still stays under warranty.
