Anyone here sold a 2007 WDP TL Type S in NYC recently?
Its a long strech..but here it goes...
In Paragon Acura in NYC there is a White 2007 TL Type S thats on sale and I can possibly get it for $24,500 with 19,000 miles.
Looking for the previous owner and hope to talk to him about it...i know its a strech to find him/her but Im giving it a shot.
Also, is that a good price?
Thanks

The carfax shows it was purchased on 11/2006...when was this car released?
I will prefer not to get the first TL-S.
Carfax reveals that he took it to the dealer for regular service...he did take it early tough...1/2007, but just says oil change. He then routinely took it back and shows oil change. He got the battery replaced on 10/2007 and got the front rotors replaced on 3/2008.

That is a good price for a certified TL-S under 20k miles. If it is the color you want interior/exterior and in the condition you want buy it. Every area in the US will not sell the car for the same price.

That's still a pretty solid price if you're looking for an auto car. I would pull the trigger especially since it's certified. I've been looking for a tl-s manul in NYC/NJ without much luck so far.

Well...I think its just a Type S with NAV with the standard rims. If only I can talk to them to install the ASPEC wheels instead...then I'll probably will take it. However, I was looking for a 06 TL w/ NAV WDP/Ebony..but they are going for 20-22k...for two more I get an 07 type S..I think its worth it.
You can not put the ASPEC body kit on the Type S right? I think it has its own.

I also found this one: 07 Type S for $20,000
http://www.regalmotorsinc.com/carsforsale.aspx
I originally was going to buy a car from them...its what I really wanted: 06 TL A-Spec WDP/Ebony with only 6500 miles for $18,900. Seemed to good to be true so I ran a carfax and it came out Salvaged title. The Type S above however, its clean; its a repo car from the second owner. But just the fact that when I called and never told me about the 06 being salvaged, is making me not trust them.

So here is the update for the op. The car is not yet certified. One of the taillights is from a regular 2007 tl. The windshield is cracked and the car is currently on 1 spare tire. The other 3 rims are pretty curbed up. I was told by the salesman that there will be a full size rim and the windshield will be replaced. He wasn't sure about the taillight. I got him down to 25,500 after the certification, but he wouldn't budge anymore.
As far as the salesman himself, I thought he was pretty good and I can say I had an overall good experience.

Anyway, OP, I would stay away from this vehicle, as it sounds like it was really abused.

Technically it was on the lot. They listed it on autotrader for 24997, it was also listed on the Acura website with no price. The manager told me that 24997 is without certification (with 4 curb rashed tls rims and a new windshield). He also told me that they are going to certify it and first offered it for 26360 then went down to 25,500.
