anyone have quad muffler tip on an 04-06 muffler?

So you can't install quad tips on the stock 06 bumper with an A-Spec lip? Been looking to get quad tips for a long time now but will they fit? And can I use the stock mufflers?

Well I finally got the Porsche 997 tips installed. Only modification is that we had to weld a piece of pipe about an 1.5 inches long to extend it little. Though they are not staggered, they are not that bad and to me look better than the stock tip-- it fills in the gap so much better. I only had my camera phone during the process, so the pictures aren't of the best quality, but you get the idea.

Those fill the type s bumper nicely
For those that want to use their 04-06 or base TL bumpers get staggered magnaflow quad tips

Wrong.
The TL-S mufflers will NOT fit in the small space of the base bumpers.
andd I'll try to post more pics later. Tryin' to catch up on some HW right now. If I dont get back to it PM me or something, cause I might forget about this thread.
And I dont really know all the details. I was rear ended. The impact was worse on the right side and it pushed my exhaust in, which bent the pipe in the middle of the car so they had to replace the entire exhaust.
-All i know is that they put a Magnaflow exhaust on and I asked for staggered quads. I asked the body shop to put the type s bumper on to fit the quads, but theyre kinda stupid and told me "the base and type s bumper are the same"
The muffler shop had to modify the tips to make them fit into the exhaust openings. I believe that they shop quoted $450 for the entire exhaust job
and also, they look a lot better in person.
