Anyone have the comptech springs yet?

I have. Front drop 1" Rear Drop .75" I expect .25" drop all around after some settling. Ride Impression. Just drove it 15 miles from the shop tonight and my initial take on it is...sweet. No harshness at all. It almost felt a bit better than the stock springs.

Springs

Can you just buy the springs, have the dealer install them, lower your car and you are good to go? Do you have to do a re-alignment? anything else? Does it corner better?

I love the look of the TL lowered.

Have you noticed that you are scraping the bottom or front of the car more....I know a lot of people claim that they will not drop for that reason, but my contention is that 1" shouldn't effect the scraping issue much...let us know

A drop of 1" will affect the "scraping issue" by exactly 1". Whether that's minor or not depends on a lot of things, mostly having to do with the daily hazards your car faces (speed bumps, parking stops, steep driveways, driveways with curbs at the end, etc.)

My stock TL is low enough for me.

I HAVE HAD THE SPRINGS AND RIMS INSTALLED
DRAMATIC DIFFERENCE THE EIBACH SPRING MAKES

I DONT HAVE PICS YET B/C THE WEATHER IN NY IS WAY TO SH**TY
PLUS I WANTED TO WAIT UNTIL EVERYTHING WAS DONE NEXT WEEK

I ALSO WENT WITH 8.5 IN RIM WITH HUGE DIFFERENCE THERE. TORQUE STEER SEEMS MUCH IMPROVED.

SO FAR ON MY CAR I HAVE

SILVER METALLIC 5AT
EBONY/NAV
EIBACH PRO KIT 1 INCH DROP
ZINETTI PHANTOMS MACHINE BLACK 18 X 8.5
TOYO PROXES FZ4 235/40/18
GROUND EFFECTS
BACK UP SENSOR
K40 CUSTOM INSTALLATION
20% NON METALLIC TINT

WHAT I HAVE YET TO BE INSTALLED

HIGH PRFORMANCE BRAKE PADS
6MT ROTORS (BREMBRO VENTED)
ASPEC BADGE
DECKLID SPOILER

IF YOU DO THE MATH ON THIS WITH THE DEALERS INSTALLATION OF CERTAIN THINGS. TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE ROTORS. THE A-SPEC KIT WOULD HAVE BEEN 7 INSTALLED. SO FAR I HAVE SPENT $2400 FOR RIMS, TIRES, AND SPRINGS INSTALLED. THE DEALER HAS GOTTEN $2500 FOR THE GROUND EFFECTS. THAT IS $4900 NOW IF YOU COUNT THE BREAK PADS AND ROTORS INSTALLED ANOTHER $2000 WITH THE DECK LID SPOILER. WAY MORE VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY B/C I AM GETTING THE ROTORS INCLUDED WITH ALL THE OTHER STUFF.

WILL POST AS SOON AS I HAVE MORE INFO
