As soon as I come up with the cash solution, I'm going to get the 6 speed with the optional high performance tires. I live in northern California without the snow, so winter/summer tires are not an issue around here. I would to hear from the lucky bastards that have these tires comment on the handling, ride, noise,etc. Thanks.

 

I have only test drove the tires. They were a lot better handling. I did not notice much noise, but was only out for a few minutes as it was a new car without inspection or tags. I plan on getting them if and when they can get me the color I like.

 

i got the HP tires on my 6MT. Drove both - I have to say that the bridgestones perform significantly better. car hugs onramps and the steering feedback is phenominal. Only have less than 500 miles on the car so i cant comment on longevity. noise-wise - you can't hear them during normal cruising.
i say go for it!
