Anyone else with Deep Green Pearl?
Anyone else out there opt for the Deep Green Pearl? I was waiting for an anthricite but the car kept getting delayed. I decided to go with the DGP because it came in a month and a half before the anthricite car would and it actually looks pretty close to the gray with just a touch of green.
I haven't seen anyone else out there on the boards with one. Just wondering if anyone was out there (or even seen on for that matter... mine was the only DGP car my dealer's got so far).

The 1st picture in Hacksaw's gallary shows a mismatch inpaint where the rear bumper meets the side of the car by the wheel well. I hope that is not normal-looks terrible.

I have always liked the greens of past Acura TL's like the Forrest or Hunter greens. This years DGP is not like the others in that it is more gray, or even olive in tone. That isn't to say it look bad, just very different from what Acura has released before. I hope to see one in the bright sun since the only time I saw one was under a canopy.
Regardless, it is a TL, so it is

04TLmayB,
I've been doing everything in my power to rule out the NBP because of maintenance of black. I also checked out the DGP thinking before hand, this is going to be the one! Well I've now seen two of them and the mismatch in the sunlight between the bumper and body is unacceptable for me. This phenomenon is to a much lesser extent on the blue and anthracite, but it is present on these other metallics but very acceptable. I still like this car in NBP the best and will probably end up with it in the end. I agree it looked horrible.

I love the green. Thank god it didn't come with ebony or quartz interior or I would have been forced to make an even tougher decision!
Congrats on a beautiful car, and enjoy!!!

I agree, I see it in the picture but I just spent 15 minutes looking at my car from various angles in the sun and in the garage and I don't see this at all. Might just be in certain lighting... I don't know. I've never seen it on my DGP car.

While I wouldn't call the Noble Green Pearl "Fugly" I personally like the DGP better. Color is such a personal choice. Lots of people LOVE the white. I would never buy a white car, but I still think it looks pretty good. Also, while I know the "beige" colors usually look cleaner, they just don't call to me.
I guess to each their own. Actually I don't think Acura offers an ugly color for the 04 TL.
