Anyone dealt with ePrices before?

So I went to check out a 07 TL-S yesterday...loved it...I saw it online and it had a list price of 25k...now I assumed since its 2010 and most people would look at car prices online..that it wasn't a final price, at least a little room for negotiation.

Well it wasn't...they laughed at me when I tried to negotiate the ePrice. I told them I wasn't going to buy it for 25k, then they went into well the KBB price is 29k and I was like ***** the KBB for every car on your lot is higher than the actual price.

Long story short..wtf eprices...I really wanted that car too..but just wasn't going to pay what it was listed for. So I walked out..hoping they call me Monday or Tuesday, I really wanted that car :p

i work for a honda dealership and i am a used car salesman. now a days, with a click of a buttom online you can view 100s of cars. so what makes one car stand out over the others is $$$ so the dealers are pricing there cars aggressivly. there is no room for discounts. i deal with this all day, customers think we have thousands of dollars of room. this is a culture shock for everyone. internet has taken over. i felt the same way when i brought my cpo RL in march. even though im in the bussiness i still didnt get a discount on my car. the price is the price take or leave it. i really wanted the car with that color and i took it. and if u are waiting for a phone call forgetaboutit. just go and buy the car. the only thing u might get is floor mats and 2 keys. thats all u can ask for and maybe you'll get it. good luck!!! and happy hunting.

i bought my car last month, 07 type s, internet special for $24,755. i was able to negotiate them down to $23,755. took a grand off the price just by talking to them, flashing a nice cash down payment in their face, and walking away, hopping in my old car n driving away. they called me 15 mins later and agreed to my deal.

if they won't budge...then they won't budge. but someone out there will! keep trying and keep looking.

I bought my 04 base TL 1 year ago. I traded in my 2001 mustang that was heavily modded and when it was all said and done the dealer ended up paying me $2,000.00. Yes the dealer paid me to buy the TL. I only wish I knew then what i know now and i would have bought the TLType-s

Thanks for the input guys...I kinda wrote that after being a bit pissed...but I just never heard of anything like that before. I guess it makes sense...and the car is less than any other I have been able to find in my area....

I think its time to swallow my pride and go back in
