Anybody rockin' the PIAA 7443 Xtreme White?
I just cleared out my headlights, as a few of you know, and I went with a pretty nice looking chrome-capped bulb that emits white light. It basically has the exact look I want -- chrome cap, white light -- but the light output is poor, to say the least. You can see those exact bulbs HERE.
Ideally, I'd be able to keep the look of the chrome cap with white light, but I have a feeling that anything with a chrome cap will not be able to emit legitimate light. If anyone knows anything different, please let me know. So far, I've found THESE, which look like they might work. I don't want to end up in the same situation that I'm in now, though -- meaning crappy light output.
I think I've decided in the meantime that I'll just go with the PIAA 7443 Xtreme White. I wish the color of the bulb itself wasn't blue, but I suppose I could live with it. If anyone has a picture of how the bulb looks during the day in their headlight housing while unlit, I'd love to see a picture of it. In addition to that, any caveats that I should know about would be appreciated.
