Anybody buy a trunk tray?

Does it fit around the Nav unit?

I suppose it covers the floor-mount cargo net buttons?

It coveres the buttons for the net. I do not have the navi, so I cannot say, but it has a cut out on the right hand side, so I would say it does.

It is worth the money

The trunk tray only comes in one configuration, so if you have navi it fits around the navi unit, and if you don't, then you have a space there that the tray doesn't cover.

It covers the cargo buttons. If you want to use the cargo net, you can make a small slit in the tray, remove the net anchor, push the tray down over the stud, and then replace the anchor.

It fits around Navi and it's a nobrainer to get.

My carpet looks brand new after 1 1/2 years. Its worth the money especially if you live anywhere near snow. The lip on the tray keeps any spills or dirt from damaging the trunk.

The trunk tray works great! I got mine from the dealer who gave it to me along with the rubber floor mats and touch-up paint. Nice touch.

I have a 2000 TL Nav. I love it. No worries when I put my golf clubs back in with grass and stuff. Just whip out the tray and shake it out. Good investment. I bought mine on Ebay. I forget the price. It's one of the first things I bought for my car.

Best install technique I've seen described is to drill the holes for the cargo net anchors, and then install the anchors back over the holes with rubber washers purchased at your local Home Depot/Lowes/hardware store to provide extra sealing between the anchors and the liner.

I wish I'd read that before I cut the slits in mine!

That's why I said "a small slit", but drilling will be neater and more effective, and using the rubber washers is an excellent tip. I will use this method if this subject ever comes up again.

Thanks for the ideas.

I bought mine from my dealer for $32,999. I paid a dollar for the car =) I got it for 'free' as part of the 'protection package' that my dealer threw in.

rubber washers...great idea!

wish I'd read this too before ripping the holes in mine.

btw, the anchors screw on/off by hand for those that haven't checked it out.

I have the trunk tray on my '03... Like others have said, it is a great investment if you put dirty or wet stuff in your trunk from time to time...
