I have the same problem. It's NOT the mirrior, it's something under the hood. I took it into my dealer and they checked it out and said it's normal. I don't see how this can be normal, however they have it on record. Let me know how you make out. I am also starting to hear a clicking sound about 3 seconds after i start the car in the morning. Havn't taken it in for this yet.

YEA I KNOW EVERYTIME I PUT IT IN REVERSE IT CLICKS BEFORE GETTING INTO GEAR AND NO ITS NOT THE MIRROR NO WAY HMMMMMMMM

i dont know if the TL is your first honda, but ALL honda's go cluh-dunk when you change. My 98 prelude is the best at it.

IMO, let's say FWD vehicles are used to have this symptom. Not only would engaging to Reverse have this noise, but you may hear the slight clicking sound when moving among P, R, N, and D.

It's normal.

My 94Legend has it since day 1. Can I say sound of Honda/Acura vehicles seems louder/significant in this case?
