Any warped rotors yet?

I know the '04 is new but maybe someone out there has put on 10K mi or more and is starting to experience the perpetual Honda warped rotor problem?

Warped rotors on my '01 CL and I was hoping after 20+ yrs they would find a fix before I got the '04...

The brakes on this car are much improved over the previous car. MyTLs had warped rotor by now, not tomention tons of fade with moderate flogging!

The warped rotor problem can be prevented by making sure the wheel lug nuts are tightened with a torque rench to 80 ft-lbs. Allowing the air gun to stop when it normally can't turn any more overtightenes them.

It's best to torque the wheels in three stages. Start out with 40 ft lbs, then 60 and final 80. Torque lug nuts in a cross pattern. If you use the brakes hard for a long period of time, drive around and let them cool down. JMHO.

If these rotors warp, I want the ones from the concept A-SPEC........ 15" vented and cross drilled.... I also wouldn't mind 8 piston Brembos all the way around either..

8 piston rear calipers are unnecessary and probably won't be available. Unfortunately, 8 piston calipers require 4 pads per wheel and double the price of a brake job. Big 4 piston calipers are almost as good! I just bought replacement front pads for my 8 pistoners after only 4000 miles for $300. What a drag.

4000 miles on a set of brakes????? Someone is a little hard on brakes.. And the thing about 8 piston Brembos,,,, on the ideal TL, thus the concept!!!!
