Would love to help you but this is not an OEM part or accessory. We do not offer anything aftermarket.

You mean that the RDX brake caliper covers are not OEM issue? They come stock with the RDX?

Sorry, TL Type-S is posted under your message and in my haste to respond I assumed (we all know what that does) that you wanted caliper covers for the TL. If I had bothered to re-read your request, I would have seen the RDX mentioned.
Anyway, the 2013 RDX comes with calipers covers. Replacement part number is 45218-TX4-A00. With 25% off MSRP and an additional 5% for Acurazine members they only cost $11.19 each.

Here's a link to another post showing pics of how the RDX caliper covers look...

http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=861739

Based on the above thread, it looks like these will work on all four calipers of a 5AT TL - any chance for a discount through a group buy? When ordering, how do you get the 5% Acurazine discount?

Also, I tried searching by part number 45218-TX4-A00 on http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/jsp/home.jsp and it states that...

Specified Part Not Found. Please Search Again.

I tried without dashes and still no luck.

Because this part is listed in the 2013 catalog, it will not appear in our online catalog (not yet). I am working on getting it added and coming up with a group buy on these. I'll post it on the group buy section of the forum and respond to everyone who has showed interest with a PM. Unfortunately, I cannot quarantee that this part number will fit any other Acura other than the 2013 RDX since it is only cataloged for the RDX by Honda. Look for something early next week.

Awesome. Guys, if you want anything else in a group buy, let PJ know. Perhaps he can work up something if there is enough interest. Thanks PJ.

Boy I hope you can come up with these for a group buy. I just called Ferman Acura here in Tampa and they stated they are on back-order (and they quoted a price of $17.20 a piece).

I'll take four at the group buy price if you can find them and deliver them in a relatively short amount of time.

Thanks

As with all Acura Dealers, when a part is on backorder with Honda, we all have to wait the same amount of time. The current ETA is later this month.

PJ - I know you said you would PM those interested, and I'm even subscribed to this thread, but I'm simply impatient ... Any update on a potential group buy for the Acura caliper covers (PN# 45218-TX4-A00)?

Sorry about the delay. I have been trying to get in-touch with our website host to set up the promo so that I can offer it to you. Hoping to hear from them today.

Do you offer a timing belt, water pump kit? (With tensioner, idler, ect).
If not maybe a group buy on something like that. I know I'm going to be doing mine soon so I'll be looking to get it.

Type ACURAZINE in the comment section of the shopping cart. We will deduct 5% from your parts subtotal prior to processing your credit card.

The group buy will be 2 caliper covers with shipping (US Postal Priority 2-3 day mail service) $27.50. Please keep in mind, these parts are still on backorder with Honda. We can order them and will keep you up to date on the ETA. In order to take advantage of this buy, you will need to place the order via the phone. Starting MONDAY 7/23 - FRIDAY 7/27, call 1-866-228-8801 ext.217 or ask for Janette in parts. Leave a msg if you get the recording, I'll call you back.

Perhaps you can help me with this one... '04 TL A-Spec, I am noticing that the power steering is working only intermittently. For example, if I am going slow around a corner, making a tight turn, I can barely turn the wheel, but then as soon as I'm out of the turn and going faster, or still in the turn and going faster, it works perfectly. No issues with the PS lines, either. I'm confused!

Yes. Caliper covers are $11.00 x 4 = $44.00. The mirrors are $29.04 ea less your Acurazine additional 5% discount comes to $27.59 each x 2 = $55.18.

55.18
44.00
-------
99.18 parts subtotal
10.95 shipping & hdl
-------
110.13 total
