Well the title is self explanatory....i want to put my 05 tail lights on my 07 TL-S (kbp) but i wondered if anyone had done it before and has pics....or if some one can photoshop it....i like the tl-s tail lights....but i think all red would look a little more classy on it....thanx in advance....

I agree as well, the new Type S is hot, but those tail lights look wayyy to ricer style for me. I will also be replacing mine to get the (classy) look when I take ownerhsip of my S.

Type S tails are pretty sporty looking so it matches the Type S well, but if you're going for class, then definitely the all red or 07 bases IMO

why would u wanna do that, the original TL-S tail light look goooood.... lots of folks out there who wanna convert their 04-06 to 07 TL-S tail light.... u don't to do that bro !!!

I think that the gunmetal tail's flow a bit better with the New TL-S. That is my personal opinion, but if you do decide to swap them, consider swapping the sidemarkers as well for the red ones. The plug may not fit properly though as there were reports of the sidemarkers having a wider plug, leaving 04-06 owners with somewhat loose sidemarkers.

I love the 04-06 lights, personally i never really liked the look of the 07 TL-S rears compared to the 06! The solid red is less sportier/ricey looking, like a previous poster said i think it will look much more classier!!!!!!!!!

ok...tomorrow im going to take out my tl-s taillights...and put on my 05 tail lights....

BTW....i wont be selling my tl-s lights....they need to go on my base TL in order for me to take those tails and put them on my 07....
