hey, you can find pretty much anything about TLs here by doing a quick search. i can see that you're new here, so welcome.

heres a link i came up with for you
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...light=interior

the second post should be what youre looking for, and theres another one on the second page.. all of the interior for 04-07 look alike so dont worry about the year differences.

That's what almost everyone else who didn't get the Nav thought too.

Do a search here in these forums and you'll see how many non-Nav owners regretted their decision. The best part about getting the Nav is that you won't be one of the 10's of 1000's that didn't who looked back afterwards banging their heads into the wall wishing they had. Why do you think the VAST majority of '04/5/6 TL's for sale out there (especially on ebaY) are non-Nav units?

The Nav screen is the heart of the interior and the voice recognition alone makes it worth it.

THINK before you act!

i bought my 06'TL in november without navi. i got such a good price that i regret not getting navi. after thinking about it, i realized that the navi will add resale value to the vehicle. if you can get the navi, get it.

Don't short yourself. This car is not complete without the Nav system.

Initially, i thought that i wouldn't use it much either, but i use it all the time and it is definitely one of the coolest things about my TL

I agree with the other posters, go for the navi!

I read somewhere that having navi can actually hurt resale value. I think I read it on MSN or somewhere.

I can't afford it with Nav, I am getting a killer deal on an 06 no nav for 32k OTD and they are giving me 1k over blue book on my trade. So, it's either get the TL with no nav, or get like a maxima or something...the G35 is 33 OTD but gas is horrible in comparison, 20 freeway if you drive the speed limit and 16-18 if you drive 80 like I do...the IS250 is too slow, so I would be going with like a maxima, or a accord or something because I decided the TSX is too small.

So, TL with no nav or no TL is the question now...

So if that's the only choice, I'd say get the TL with no nav...that's ALWAYS better than NO TL!

Regarding pictures - using the search function should show some interior pictures with no nav. Basically, the nav screen area is replaced with two smaller, rectangular, screens that show the basics in terms of AC, etc.

Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for!

So, TL no Navi, TSX with navi, go TL right? Going with Silver on Black, some 30% tint all the way around and maybe an intake for starters, but by reading it looks like the icebox was "the one" and now they closed?

I don't have nav, I don't regret it. I think it looks quite nice and just fine without nav as well, get it I guess if you constantly explore new cities or unfamiliar territory?

I would definitely say TL over TSX, Silver on Black with Tint will be a very nice combination by the way. I don't know a lot about CAI's, but I think the "icebox" you are referring to may have been from Comptech, and while they were closing their doors, there seems to have been a reprieve and they are coming back to full strength in the next couple of weeks. Best of luck on getting the TL and I'm sure you'll enjoy!

since you already stated the TSX was too small, I think you've answered your own question

What do you mean by ''too small'' though. Are you a bigger guy? Do you need more trunk space? If it weren't for my lead foot and love of high speed Atlanta highway driving I'd have a TSX to really throw through the turns. Although, the TSX was a 'bit' cramped at my 6'3'' / 220lbs, and I always really wanted a TL

Ps - Comptech USA doesn't make an Icebox for 04 and above TL's

Definitely Buy the TL! I bought my 06 Silver/Black (Love this Combo!)No Navi for $30,086 plus freight taxes tags etc...was like $32K OTD. I LOVE MY TL! Destroys the IS250 (My wife has one & ur right no power at all) The TL is Perfect in my opinion except I Would have preferred Rear wheel drive. I previously owned a BMW 328I and I like My TL 10x Better. G35 is also a nice car and very comfortable, however you just can't beat the looks of the TL and I couldn't stand the interior lighting in the G35 orange... As far as the Navi I did not get it because it is so over priced and I already had a Garmin GPS I had bought for my previous car and that one I can take with me anywhere in any car. Mine has Turn by turn voice prompts but they even make them with blue tooth, and touch screen etc now so that is always an option. Of course I have heard the TL Navi is an awesome system. Sometimes I wish I had it but no biggie I just use my portable one. Good luck and welcome to the Forum

Here is the article about the Navigation and the resale values. Basically it comes down to in the long run technology gets updated frequently. So cars equipped with navigation may not be as desirable in the future as new navi technology will be out there (think of the old brick phones installed in cars in the late 80's/early 90's. http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos...sale-usat_N.htm

Here is a close-up of an '06 TL non-Navi center console in a post I did a while back. Scroll down the page. https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124878

SO...I decided to go to the dealership that I wasn't going to buy from last night because the prices were too high, but I wanted to test drive both cars because the dealership I was buying from was 1.5hrs away, and ended up coming home with a certified 05 TL A-SPEC with 26k miles on it Man this car is badass!

A few questions now:

1) Can I still order a switchblade key, if so how and where? I do have an ebay account. I only got 1 key, so he said he would "cut it at cost" whatever that means...

2) How do I check to see if the nav has the newest software?
